Workshops for schools bring the magical experience of the circus into your school. Pupils learn a variety of diverse skills including Stilt Walking, unicycle, plate spinning, Diablo, Juggling, Staff, Devil sticks and Poi. Circus skills can boost children’s self esteem, movement, control, concentration and enthusiasm.

The skills discovered in these workshops can be transferred to a social setting and applied to more conventional learning situations. Our highly skilled workshop leaders deliver excellent support and guidance throughout the session ensuring that your pupils benefit from a very rewarding workshop experience.

 

 

African drumming is more than just rhythm. Drumming is used: to bring together communities, to celebrate, to worship, during rituals, as a means of communication, to relieve stress and anxiety. Drumming and rhythm is a universal language, an inclusive activity that everyone can enjoy and take part in. It affects us physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually and can be profoundly uplifting. Our practitioners energise and motivate your pupils and staff.

 

Samba drum is an exciting and vibrant expression of the percussive rhythms of South America . A traditional samba band consists of various different percussion instruments all differing in size and the sounds they produce. The south American bands are highly disciplined and energetic groups, each instrument having a very specific role to play.
