Marden Lodge School & Kestrels Children's Centre

We are Marden Lodge School PTA in partnership with Kestrels Children's Centre We decided to have an event where as we can invite the whole family and more importantly to make the event affordable to everyone.With so much going on at the school it was decided it was good to have a community event and also a Community Awareness Day for Kestrels Children's Centre to show the local residents just how much the site has to offer.

Both Marden Lodge School and Kestrels Children's Centre work very closely together and understand childrens need from 6 months to 11 years.

We have clear aims in our work:

Providing a safe, happy and secure setting in which children can become successful learners

Setting high expectations of achievement to enable children to reach their potential

Helping children to become self-confident and independent learners

Encouraging children to co-operate with and respect others

Developing children's appreciation of beauty, their creative skills and practical abilities

Providing experiences which help children develop their understanding of spirituality, religion and other cultures

Kestrels Children's Centre

Is open 50 weeks per year, 5 days per week from 7.30 - 6.00

Offering Integrated Care & Education for all children aged 6 months - 11 years

It's a friendly, caring environment where Ofsted said "This is like a big house full of happy children"

Our fully qualified staff offer a variety of family friendly activities including our recently re-launched:

Stay & Play sessions (childminders & nannies welcome)

Dads, Lads & Daughter's Groups
Adult workshops
Access to advice from Job Centre Plus & Citizen's Advice and lots lots more
